Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor Richinel Brug officially launched the new “You Good?” mental health awareness jingle during a live appearance on the Suppa Duppa Morning Show on Laser 101.1 FM. The jingle, performed by local artists King James and Natisha Hanson and produced by XavvoKnockin, formed part of a national campaign aimed at reducing stigma and encouraging open conversations about mental health.

Minister Brug said the initiative came at an important time, as many residents continued to face emotional and economic pressure. He stressed that the purpose of the campaign was to remind the public to check in with one another and seek help when needed.

“Mental health touches every home,” he noted, adding that the government remained committed to improving access to care and strengthening support systems.

He encouraged the community to embrace the message behind the jingle. “If you’re not okay, it’s okay to say so—and if someone reaches out, take a moment to listen,” he said. “Together we can build a culture where mental health is understood and supported.”

The jingle was set to air on Laser 101.1 FM, PJD2, and 88.3 FM, with residents urged to share the message and help promote awareness across the island.

For those needing assistance, the Mental Health Foundation reminded the public that support was available through its general line at +1-721-542-1677 and its 24-hour crisis line at +1-721-585-5556.
