Sint Maarten is taking its healthcare recruitment efforts overseas, as two of the island’s leading institutions prepare to attract new professionals from the Netherlands.
The White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation and the St. Maarten Medical Center are joining forces to attend the Nationale Carrièrebeurs, or National Career Fair, in Amsterdam later this month.
Set for April 24th and 25th at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center, the initiative aims to connect with both recent graduates and experienced healthcare workers interested in building a career on the island.
Together, the two organizations are showcasing opportunities across hospital care as well as long-term and community-based services. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions about living and working in Sint Maarten, while also outlining career paths, growth opportunities, and the application process.
At present, the White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation has eight vacancies open, while the St. Maarten Medical Center is looking to fill nineteen positions, ranging from medical and nursing roles to support staff.
Officials say the goal is not just recruitment, but attracting professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit, international healthcare environment.
Interested candidates are being encouraged to visit booth 201 at the career fair to learn more about opportunities in Sint Maarten’s growing healthcare sector.
