Divi Little Bay Resort has been confirmed as the official host property for contestants participating in this year’s Caribbean Queen Pageant.
The announcement was made by the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation, as delegates from across the region begin arriving on island ahead of the April 15 event at Carnival Village.
Organizers say the resort is playing a key role in ensuring contestants enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay as they prepare for one of Carnival’s signature events.
This year’s pageant, held under the theme “Queens of Sun and Soil,” will feature thirteen contestants representing countries across the Caribbean and beyond.
Participants will compete in several categories, including talent, evening wear, and national costume, all leading up to the crowning of the Caribbean Queen and a grand prize of ten thousand US dollars.
Officials say partnerships like this are essential to maintaining the quality and reputation of St. Maarten Carnival, especially as the island celebrates 55 years of culture and tradition.
