VROMI ADDRESSES PAYMENT ISSUE AND VSA REPORTS COMMUNITY OUTREACH SUCCESS

Developments in two ministries highlighted both concern and progress in government operations.

Minister of VROMI said he was unaware of non-payment issues involving a Cole Bay waste hauler, as questions emerged surrounding outstanding payments. Officials indicated the matter is being reviewed to determine what led to the situation and ensure proper follow-up.

Meanwhile, in the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labor, Minister Richinel Brug reported positive results from the Community Help Desk initiative. The program provided direct support and guidance to residents, addressing a range of social and administrative concerns.

Due to its impact, the initiative is expected to continue, though a temporary pause has been announced for the month of April.

Authorities said both matters reflect ongoing efforts to improve service delivery, transparency, and community engagement across government.
