Collective Prevention Services is calling on parents and guardians to check their children’s vaccination records as part of Vaccination Week in the Americas and World Immunization Week.

This year’s campaign runs from April twenty-fifth to May second under the theme, “Your decision makes a difference. Immunization for all.”

CPS says several vaccination outreaches will be held in May, June, and July through its Youth Health Care Baby Wellness Clinic at Vineyard Office Park.

The outreach is mainly for children ages four to nine who still need booster shots, and for children and teens from two months to seventeen years old who are not up to date with their vaccines.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s vaccination record. The available vaccines include protection against diseases such as measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, HPV, and pneumonia.

CPS says keeping children vaccinated helps protect families and the wider community from preventable diseases. Parents can contact CPS for more information or to make an appointment.
