The Parliament of Sint Maarten is hosting the 2026 SSS Cooperative Consultations with Saba and St. Eustatius on May 7th and 8th in Philipsburg.

The meetings are being held at Parliament House on Wilhelminastraat, in keeping with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Parliament of Sint Maarten and the Island Councils of Saba and St. Eustatius.

The consultations build on the first round held in 2025 and are intended to strengthen structured cooperation between the three SSS islands.

Formal discussions are set for Friday, May 8th, and will include updates on the 2025 SSS Cooperative Report and the signed agreement. Participants will also focus on shared priorities such as healthcare, education, economic development, tourism, and air connectivity.

The goal is to align policies, exchange experiences, and pursue practical solutions that benefit residents across Sint Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatius.

The consultations reflect a continued effort to strengthen regional ties and improve cooperation on issues that directly affect social and economic development across the three islands.
