The St. Martin Promoting Young Ambassadors Foundation has successfully hosted its 11th Annual St. Martin Interscholastic Idols Singing Competition.
This year’s event featured three competitions in one evening, highlighting the musical talent, creativity, and stage presence of young performers across the island.
In the Secondary Schools Solo Competition, Kimore Smith of the Charlotte Brookson Academy of the Performing Arts took first place with her rendition of Melanie Fiona’s “It Kills Me.”
In the Primary Schools Choir Competition, Marie Genevieve de Weever School won the top prize with its “Praise Medley,” while the Charlotte Brookson Academy also captured first place in the Secondary Schools Choir Competition with “You Say.”
The evening also featured a surprise guest performance by former Interscholastic Idols winner Raheem Atkinson, better known as Tension, alongside Daddy Keys.
Foundation President Angelique Romou thanked the students, schools, judges, sponsors, volunteers, and the wider community for supporting the event.
The Foundation is already encouraging the public to save the date for the 12th Annual St. Martin Interscholastic Idols Competition, tentatively set for February 20th and 21st, 2027.
