The St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association has officially launched the 2026 edition of St. Maarten Flavors, now expanding the culinary campaign into a year-round platform.
The launch took place during an SHTA networking mixer at NIPA, bringing together close to 90 members, culinary professionals, tourism stakeholders, and supporters of the island’s food scene.
Students from NIPA’s culinary and hospitality programs played a central role, preparing and serving hors d’oeuvres alongside chefs from Zeebest, Spices of India, and the Creole Culinary Classroom.
St. Maarten Flavors is a partnership between SHTA and the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau, aimed at promoting the island’s restaurants, signature dishes, and culinary experiences.
Tourist Bureau Director May-Ling Chun said the platform will now showcase St. Maarten’s food scene throughout the year, while June is being positioned as Culinary Month.
Organizers are encouraging residents and visitors to explore participating restaurants and support the local culinary sector through stmaartenflavors.com.
