SAINT-MARTIN has appointed Luciana Raspail as Director General of the Chambre Consulaire Interprofessionnelle de Saint-Martin, or CCISM, following 15 years of service with the institution.
Raspail joined the CCISM in 2011 as a secretary and has since held a series of increasingly senior roles, including work in business formalities, export development, business support and, most recently, as Deputy Director.
She holds degrees in management, international trade and human resources, and says her priorities will include strengthening support for local businesses, improving the use of data and evaluation, developing new partnerships and expanding the institution’s long-term capacity.
Business support, entrepreneurship, training, youth, innovation and regional and international development are expected to remain central to her work.
Following her appointment, Raspail travelled to Paris with the CCISM President for meetings with national and overseas business networks aimed at strengthening partnerships and supporting Saint-Martin’s economic development.
