Princess Juliana International Airport is bringing back its Princess Walk on the runway as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event will take place on Sunday, October 18th, in collaboration with the Elektralyets Foundation and the Positive Foundation.

This year’s theme is “Crown Yourself with Courage – Lace Up, Step Up, Check Up!”

Participants will gather at the terminal from 4 a.m., with transportation to the runway beginning at 4:45. The walk starts at 5:30 a.m.

Organizers say the event is aimed at encouraging women to prioritize regular screenings and early detection.

Throughout October, the airport terminal will also be illuminated in pink, with a ribbon displayed in remembrance of those lost to breast cancer and in support of survivors and families.

Official Princess Walk T-shirts cost 20 dollars, with proceeds supporting the Elektralyets and Positive Foundations.

Registration information is available through the PJIA website.
