A series of ministerial decrees concerning healthcare professionals and institutions, published in the October 9th National Gazette, contain numerous apparent drafting and formatting errors.
According to a review by The Daily Herald, issues include missing decree dates and numbers, unresolved reference fields, conflicting dates, unclear validity periods, inconsistent names, incorrect pronouns and grammatical errors.
In some cases, the published text reportedly contains the message “Error! Reference source not found,” including one decree where both the start and expiry dates are missing.
Other decrees contain inconsistent spellings of professional or institutional names, empty template sections and apparent chronology problems.
The reported errors do not automatically mean the authorisations or permits are invalid, but they may make individual decisions difficult to interpret.
The publication raises questions about proofreading and legal quality control, particularly where healthcare professionals, employers, insurers and regulators need clarity on who is authorised, under what conditions and for what period.
