The University of St. Martin has introduced a new series of weekly motivational sessions for students in its Caribbean Foundation Year programme.

The sessions, called Pep Talks, are designed to connect students with professionals, community leaders and USM alumni who can share career experiences, advice and personal lessons.

The series began with Nkosazana Illis, a holistic healer and social worker, who spoke about personal growth and well-being.

This week, Captain Peterson Bourjoly of SXM Airways, who is also a USM alumnus, is scheduled to address students, followed next week by President of Parliament Sarah Wescot-Williams.

USM says the sessions are intended to expose students to different career paths while helping them build confidence, set goals and think more broadly about their future.

The talks are held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and USM is inviting alumni and other community members to volunteer for upcoming sessions.
