CURAÇAO police are offering a 10-thousand Caribbean guilder reward for information that could help solve the murder of Colombian national Ricardo Garces Julio.
His body was found on September 25th in the waters of Santa Cruz with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say investigators also found an unlocked vehicle near the beach with blood covering the front passenger seat. Authorities have not confirmed whether that blood has been forensically linked to the victim, and no suspects or motive have been announced.
Meanwhile in SAINT-MARTIN, the Gendarmerie is investigating an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Quartier d’Orléans.
Authorities confirmed that armed suspects entered and robbed the business. No injuries have been reported, and additional details have not yet been released.
Both investigations remain ongoing.
